Standard Cell Boards matched to large Li-Ion cells

- One Cell Board per 2 cells in series (and 1 to many in parallel)
- Cell Board (green in picture) is mounted to the top terminals of 2 side-by-side adjacent cells
- A single wire (blue in picture) connects the Cell Board and the opposite ends of the 2 cells
- Reliable mechanical mounting and direct electrical connection
- A single communication wire is used between adjacent cells boards in a bank

For N cells, where N is even, you need n/2-2 "mid-bank" cell boards, and only 1/2 of the negative board is used
For N cells, where N is odd, you need (n+1)/2-2 "mid-bank" cell boards
- Right angle connectors are standard on end boards. Versions with straight connectors or without connectors are available with quick turnaround
- With right angle connectors - requires no extra mounting space beyond the cell bolts
- With straight connectors - requires some extra mounting space beyond the cell bolts
- Without connectors (cables to the BMS controller are soldered directly to the cell board) - requires no extra space beyond the cell bolts

Power connections:
- Connection to the mid-point between the 2 cells is through the ring terminal on the yellow wire
- Connection to the positive terminal of the most positive of the 2 cells is through the ring terminal on the red wire
- Connection to the negative terminal of the most negative of the 2 cells is through the ring terminal on PCB
Signal connections:
- Signal connection between adjacent cell boards is through the gray and orange wires
- Signal connection to the BMS controller is through two 2-pin connectors, one to the positive end board (red and black wires) and one to the negative end board (white and green wires)
